Matthew J. Dillig, as Chief Investment Officer of his team at Hightower Advisors, directs the investment strategy for their 50 family clients. His focus is to help craft an appropriate investment policy, a long-term strategic asset allocation plan, whilst considering shorter-term tactical opportunities and risks. All of this is done within the context of a client’s personal financial goals and philosophical views on investing and social impact.
Matt spent the first ten years of his career working in the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. In 2008, Matt and his team joined Credit Suisse, where they spent over four years before departing in 2012 to help start the Chicago-based independent firm, Hightower Advisors. In 2023, Matt was named to Barron's Top 100 Independent Advisors List.
Matt grew up in a family of seven children in the Milwaukee area. He attended Marquette University High School, followed by the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Finance.
Matt serves on the Board of Directors for Vertiport Chicago, and now the Wood Family Foundation.
Matt is also a dedicated husband, father and basketball coach. He and his wife, Dr. Gina Dillig, have five children and reside in Winnetka, IL.
