Ted has advised ultra-high net worth families for the past eleven years. Ted spent the first four years working at Merrill Lynch in the Private Banking and Investment Group; and, in 2008, Ted joined Credit Suisse, along with Matt and Brian.
Prior to entering the wealth management industry, Ted worked for several start-up companies (Parson Group, Orbit Commerce, and Scribe) in senior management roles. Immediately after graduating from business school, he worked for Crate&Barrel in myriad capacities, including opening key new markets (New York and Atlanta) and working with a management consultant on several critical financial and operational projects.
Ted graduated from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management in 1992. During his sophomore year, he and his wife studied at the Copenhagen Business School. Ted graduated from the Honors Program at Loyola University of Chicago with distinct honors, spending his junior year in Rome at the Gregorian University in Rome. In 1982, he graduated from Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois.
Ted and Gieriet have five children, and they reside in Hobe Sound, Florida.
